Very good example of a moorland course, where keeping the ball low to the ground for maximum feel is the order of the day. The course gets better and better as you play it, with some stunning holes at the end of the back nine. Great greens with typical Herbert Fowler contours and very fast and true all year. With views of Dartmoor from all over the course, it really is a great all round experience, from my point of view, possibly the best inland course in Devon, at least equal with East Devon.
Can't wait to return.
