A Fantastic little course, The only fault I could find is that for a first timer to this venue the course is very hard to navigate and on some tee's you can be confused as to which flag to aim for but I found the groundstaff and fellow golfers very helpfull in pointing me in the right direction. The course itself is ideal for a begginer and is a good test on control rather than distance. The 5th hole needs an acurate shot from the tee and be warned that the green is very fast on that hole so be cautious with your approach. I enjoyed my round and for £8.50 for 9 holes its great value for money

I've lived around Warwick for quite some time now and this course is the perfect place to get a quick 9 holes after work during the week. Although it's not an amazing course, it's got a great mix of holes to test players. Previously comments have been made about the state of the course. Over the last couple of years it seems to have been maintained very well with good fairways and smooth greens, some of which slope a hell of a lot! Overall I think it's a great little course and a great way to improve your game.

I played this course on 29 June 04 and I must say what a wonderful little course!! The welcome was friendly and the practice facilities were basic but sound. The course itself was in good nick, not particularly long so no real need for opening the shoulders but with a mixture of doglegs, stragetically placed trees, uphill holes, severely sloping greens and three par threes which amount to over 600 yards between them there is plenty for the old grey matter to work on. The best hole was the 6th, a short uphill par 4, easily drivable, but with a huge narrow avenue of trees to get through, out of bounds down the right and two big bunkers on gaurd at the front of the green, it takes a brave soul!! At only 6 sheets for the round I'd say excellent value and I shall definately be there again soon.

Having played the course for the first time yesterday (27/8/02)I am amazed at the comments that have been posted. With the amount of ground they had to work with, I think the designers have done a fantastic job to fit in such an attractive and challenging course. The course itself was very well manicured and the greens were as soft as I have encountered during the last few months. All in all, for £5.00, the course is beyond criticism. This view was held by all four of us who played. From myself, an eight handicapper who has been playing the game for 12 years, to a complete novice who has been playing the game for eight weeks. P.S. The rough is meant to be tough, a good course should reward good shots and punish bad shots.

Having "taken-up" golf recently I have found the course ok - the price is cheap and compared to other courses locally you can see why. The course is very tightly compacted and you need to be very accurate or (as previous comments suggest) you land in pathetic rough areas, the very worst thing I have found is when the fairways etc. are cut all the cuttings are dumped into the rough making lost balls a very frequent occurance, on the plus side all of these things do make for a challenging round and my game has improved as I have to be accurate due to the fact it gets too expensive losing all these balls !!

I played on this course for the first time today (7/11/00) and taking into account the course was very wet I see now why it is only £4.50. Trolleys were allowed and I think the owner is obviously only concerned about getting an income, and not about the state of the course. All that said if the course was better maintained it wouldn`t be too badder course to play

I have played the course several times, and find that it is quite often is bad shape. The rough is ridiculous, and fringe of the greens just don't bare thinking about. However, these aren't the worst aspects of the course. What really does annoy me is the fact that the tractors cut the grass half through the day.
