Excellent round of golf followed by a really enjoyable sandwich & drink. One of the most friendly clubs you could wish to visit. Course is starting to fill out and is looking good, I will return to play in one of the Opens the club have on offer.

I played here on the weekend and have to say the course was excellent. The condition of the course was very good for this time of year and the members, food etc was superb. The course is an established parkland layout with some good elevation changes on both the front and back nine. The final two holes are really impressive with the 17th a dogleg where you drive to the top of the hill and then down towards a very slopey green. The 18th is a three-tiered uphill par-3 which is a really good test. Well recommended for anyone visiting the area.

Nice parkland course near Sutton Coldfield. I particularly liked the Par 3's at 5 and 18. The 18th is all uphill, plays a lot longer than you think, so it is a great finishing hole. As far as the clubhouse goes, there are probably more aesthetically pleasing structures around, but the welcome is first class and there are nice views of the course from the first floor. Very enjoyable.

Played the course yesterday and it really was in beautiful condition. Greens were quick fairways lovely and it was overall a fantastic round of golf. Many interesting holes the best of which is the 5th where you have to tee off from a elevated tee to a small green hitting over a lake dangerous lake which comes very much into play. Very friendly atmosphere and lovely food upstairs int he clubhouse.Defineatly worth a look and I will most certainly be returning at sometime in the six week holiday!!!
