I was concerned about playing here after reading the reports but our experience was generally much better. The club house, pro shop and course was great. The only issue we had was the half way house ran out of food and drink despite knowing that a society of 24 is passing through. Looking past the half way house then everyone enjoyed the test of golf and also the views. However, please note that even though this course is on the cliff tops, it is not links. Yes, it has sloping fairways but it is not sand based and does not have many of the other required characteristics that you also associate. It is though, worth playing and enjoyable as well as being in good condition.

Where do I start. We turned up an hour early so we could warm up. We were then told to go straight out as THEY had sorted a competition at our tee off time. We then spent the next 18 holes being rushed. The course was over priced at £45, it's a £25 course at best. No apologies for the lumpy and poor greens. The staff in the bar were very nice, as we're the members who we came across. The staff in the pro shop made us feel like an inconvenience even though we were bringing £180 to there club. Myself and the three others who played with me wouldn't play here again and wouldn't recommend it either. We play numerous courses across the country and in France. This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to review.

My worst experience on a golf course! I started ten minutes after the last mixed fourball out on a club competition for oldies (like myself), and was caught on the sixteenth by a pair who had started out nearly an hour and a half after me! Yes, I lost the will to play, and almost the will to live! Needless to say my game went downhill after hole 7. The course is nice, some decent, if rather straight, holes. Not enough are really outstanding to make it truly memorable, but plenty of uphill and down dale in the breeze could make for an interesting and enjoyable round perhaps! Good value for twilight Teeoff Times - just don't go on a Wednesday (even other club members were complaining). Pity!

Wow, thats all I have enough breath left to say!!..I played this course with 5 others on a day when the "breeze" as the locals put it was bending the sticks in half, what a challenge, superb condition, great clubhouse and very relaxed locals and staff, what else can you ask for a course?? Of yes there's the small benefit that from several holes you can just make out the church steeple over "Ze other side" in France, do yourself a favour and try this out

Played this course in 2003 - fantastic challenge with extremely undulating fairways. Good quality links course - great views of the English Channel as well. Highly Recommended!

What a lovely place to play golf, course in fine condition with good on course facilities. Only niggle was the ridiculous yellow tee position on the 14th hole. Well worth a visit.

What a day! the people were very hospitable and the course was brilliant. It was in very good condition and the views were superb very, challenging greens. It was a calm day but if the wind is up I bet it is a lot harder.

I have been a junior member at Walmer & Kingsdown Golf Club for a year. This course is brillint! The club house is nice and friendly and Matthew Paget is the pro there and he is really nice. Their is a brilliant veiw on the 1st, 2nd, 7th, 8th and the ninth. For any golfer this course is brilliant!!

I played here in August and the course was in fine fetter. Some extremely nice holes including long par 5s back to back and short blind shot par 3's to test any standard of golf. Magnificent views across the English Channel make this one of the nicest courses on this coastline. Excellent 19th to top the day off with.
