Great course, great staff, great food, we have played the course for the last 3 years in our society, we decided to have a change next year and play all different courses but after playing last week we have changed our mind and will be back again next year

These greens will take a well struck shot. Heres a little tip for you, try and play with a softer ball next time, and clean your grooves. I played this course not so long back, and must say it was in fantastic condition! Fairways fantastic, if a little burnt off, greens VERY true, and very fast!! Ok there was a little noise from the motor-way but you soon get used to it. This course boasts the tuffest 1st tee shot i have ever seen. You have to hit over a waterfall and over the corner of a lake. A sure 'signature hole' if ive ever seen one. The back six holes are probably the toughest holes i have ever played too. All in all our society had a fantastic day! From golf course, to clubhouse (and pro shop). The food was fantastic too, great value for money!

I'm afraid I don't rate this course at all. Far too many blind shots, greens that don't hold and blind shots to fairways that throw you off into the rough even from a well hit straight drive. Add to this the ever present noise from being surrounded by major roads and a motorway. Very pretty and greens can be quick and fairly true but try getting a ball to stop even on a 100 yard par 3!

I was looking forward to playing this course and was not really dissappointed. The only bad points I would make is that there were a lot of drainage work on most of the greens and a few of them were temporary which annoyed me. Apart from that the standard and the state of the course was very high considering it was the end of January and I only paid £10!!!!

This is a very friendly club from the members and pro to the bar staff. the course is a really good challenge but it is not a beast. The course has a great finnish from the 13th which is as good as I've played and I've played some top courses. The condition of the course was good but the greens a little slow but true.

Played this course on 23rd July. It was in super condition and there is not one dissapointing hole, a true gem ! Only slight annoyance is that there isn't a course planner available, and some paths from green's to the next tee would benefit from some signage to help the visitor and help speed up play. But other than that, top notch ! Thoroughly recommended.

If you get the chance, go and play this course NOW! It is in absolutely beautiful condition, the fairways, the greens, everything. One of the (if not the) longest courses in Staffordshire offers something for everyone from high handicappers (such as myself) to scratch players, and boasts the longest Par 5 in the area. The clubhouse has recently been refurbished and is fantastic. The restaurant/bar food facilities are also very good and are very reasonably priced. An absolute gem. I'm already booked in to play next month. A lovely course.

I played Trentham Park last September for the first time and being a novice I shot a quite unremarkable 140. I enjoyed every moment of this course - apart from when I actually went to hit the ball! I played there again last week and the experience was just as good. I made my first ever birdie on the par 3 15th (a curious hole - visit the course you'll see what I mean). After my driver deserted me for the 11th time I switched to hitting my trusty 4 iron, 4 iron, PW combo and simply enjoyed the course. I'm still a novice but I shaved a good 30 strokes off my last score there. Hopefully this will improve again when I return to the course later in June.

A VERY GOOD PARKLAND COURSE. THE COURSE HAS SOME REALLY CHALLENGING HOLES, BUT IF YOU CAN KEEP THE BALL IN PLAY A GOOD SCORE IS POSSIBLE. HOLES TO NOTE ARE THE UPHILL PAR 4 8TH (THE SECOND SHOT PLAYS LONGER THAN IT LOOKS!), PAR 5 12TH & PAR 3 15TH. FOR ANYONE PLAYING THIS COURSE FOR THE FIRST TIME BE WARNED ON THE PAR 4 14TH. DO NOT HIT DRIVER AS I DID!!! A MID TO LONG IRON WILL SUFFICE AS THERE IS A BROOK SOME 200 YARDS FROM THE TEE, EVEN A DECENTLY STRUCK 3 WOOD WILL REACH THE BROOK. THE PAR 4 16TH ALSO PRODUCES A DIFFICULT DECISION FROM THE TEE. IT SEEMS VERY NARROW FROM THE TEE, BUT A WELL STRUCK DRIVER WILL OPEN UP THE GREEN, I HIT 3 WOOD DOWN THE MIDDLE AND WAS BLOCKED OFF FROM THE GREEN!!! OVERALL THIS IS A FINE COURSE WITH EXCELLENT GREENS. A TRUE ENJOYMENT TO PLAY!!!
