Third or fourth time I have played while visiting the area and again not disappointed. Pretty windy at the top end of the course which made things pretty interesting. Usual friendly welcome from staff and members and at £12.50 excellent value. Hopefully back again soon.

Set in the rolling hills just northwest of Hereford this is a memorable course that is well worth playing. When I played in September of 2007 the course was in very good shape with medium fast greens that putted very true. I come to this area each year from the US to visit family and always find time for a round at the Herefordshire. It is walkable, and I carry my bag, but there are a couple of holes that are hilly and so a powered golf bag cart is recommended. This should not put you off playing as the individuality of the holes and beauty of the surroundings make up for that extra effort. In fact the undulating terrain makes it all the more interesting to play. From the yellow tees it is a short course at 5,875 yards (6,031 from the whites), but because of the design its still a good round of golf and there are a number of holes you need to hit driver. I would suggest getting the yardage book as a couple of holes are not obvious from the tees with blind drives at numbers 2, 3, 14 and 18. With any course of this length there are usually a couple of weak par 4's and the Herefordshire is no exception - if enough thought is put into the strategic design of these holes, the short par 4's can end up being the ones that we all look forward to playing. The 265 yrd 11th and the 304 yard 18th are the two that could do with some improvement as all the other holes are really fun to play. The clubhouse is very well situated with stunning views, friendly staff and good food, in fact I found all the members and staff I met to be very amiable. It has the feeling of a friendly private club where outsiders are welcome and members have a strong affection and pride for their club. There is no driving range but there is a short game practice area just in front of the clubhouse.

Played as a four ball of first timers in early September on 2 for 1 vouchers. A bit of hassle at the start as the tee time we had booked with the pro shop clashed with a members weekly tournament, but it was amicably sorted by us going out earlier. That is the only complaint, a great course, excellent food, friendly members and a well stocked shop. The course itself is very tight with blind shots and very few flat lies, I lost a number of balls by trying to take off corners, but it was great fun. It's a bit hilly in places so be prepared to excersise your lungs, but the downhill tee shots make it all worthwhile. At £10 for a mid-week round on a voucher this must represent some of the best value in the Midlands, play it you will not be disappointed.

What a great course! Having recently visited the Herefordshire Golf Club as part of a golf tour on a rainy July day, some were not too keen on playing! But thankfully we went out and what a treat! All 18 holes are absolute quality (probably a good job it had rained as some of the greens were still quick!) The pro shop were very friendly and helpful (luckily having offers on waterproofs and gloves!) The food in the clubhouse was lovely. I would definately strongly recommend this course to anyone visiting the area. Thankyou!

Beautiful course, deep in the countryside, so peaceful, everybody friendly. Some great holes. Lots of wildlife, we even saw wild deer in the woods around the ninth tee.

This is a regular for our society and always attracts good numbers. Not only is the course outstanding but the welcome from everyone associated with the club could not be bettered. As for the course, it is not long and there are a number of short par 4's that some could drive. However, it is a challenge to all standards of players as position from the tee is more important than distance in most cases. The greens are slick and true and will certainly test your bravery with the putter. Just when you think you have a winning card you reach the Par 3 15th, Par 5 16th and Par 4 17th all of which are potential banana skins. A fantastic day out.

Played in July and both the course and the views were terrific. The members and clubhouse staff were very welcoming and would recommend it to anyone. Take a camera for the vista.

Played this course twice now and definately rate it one as one of the best round North London. People are classy but friendly and the course is in brilliant condition. I definate course to play.

A lot of blind shots, so if you tend to go off-line, take plenty of ammunition. The course was in absolutely first class condition, despite the fact it had been a month for monsoons. Very picturesque with some great holes. I loved the little par 3 15th, very pretty. How David Park carded a 63 here is beyond me, its a tough cookie. Recommended. Worth going the extra mile out-of-your-way for.

What a fantastic course. It's set in fantastic countryside, and almost every hole presents a challenge. When we played the whole course was in terrific condition. The 16th especially is one to remember. It's a par 5, measuring only 475 yards, but it's all uphill, with trees down the left and out of bounds down the right, and the fairway can't be much more than 20 yards wide. Made even more memorable for me by the fact that I got a birdie 4, which virtually guaranteed beating my opponent gross (even the his handicap is 8 shots lower than mine). If you're in the area this is the course to play. The only word of caution is that it's pretty steep all the way round, so you may want a buggy.
