4 reviews of Tenterden Golf Club

Hmmmmm....Played Tenterden this weekend and it is a good layout with some lovely holes, particularly the 12th, however the greens were awful, lumps and bumps and slow slow slow. They had a society playing Saturday afternoon along with a two ball womens competition which led to a very slow round. If you manage to get some golf in without one one the members reminding you that they are a member and thus are a far better person than you then you have done very well. Knowing the club is looking for new members their attitude towards guests really needs to be looked at. 4 perspective members on Saturday now looking for local alternatives. The guest loyalty scheme that has been set up really is value for money on the plus side.

We played Tenterden Wednesday 21st May 2008 teeing off at 1500 We found the course to be in excellent condition Despite it looking straight forward from all the tees ( we did have a course planner ) it still requires you to think round the course. There are many ditches around the course to catch you out if not once on a hole sometimes a second time The greens were excellent and not too quick Excellent value nice welcome before we played and nice in the bar after. Great value 2 fore 1 Will go again Highly receommended

Played in late August, used 2-fore-1 voucher as a fourball, had a low handicapper, 2 middle handicappers and a high handicapper, it was an even challenge for all of us and the course was in top condition. We finished with a nice drink at the spike bar overlooking the par 3 18th.

very friendly course with great views over kent. The course it more difficult than it looks, the first being one of the toughest par 3's that you will come across. the eights is one of the hardest holes anywhere with a long drive required for position on a tight dog leg, followed by a long second to an uphill green. give this course respect ...it deserves it
