Sutton Park golf course is a fantastic course with great value for money great greens, great fairways and some difficult holes
Played here following the July floods of 2006, the course has only recently reopened so there were many patches of fairway where the floods had killed off the grass. Luckily I avoided them all so it didn't affect play at all.
I enjoyed the round although the course is very much a council affair - the tee markers are made of sports cones and the pins from plumbing pipe.
pretty good course for a council course. Bit boring though, and not that challenging, but good for begginners.
nice course. friendly members.
some interesting holes.shame about the changes to the 18th.
A fantastic course well looked after the staff are very friendly only problem is some slow play.for a council course not bad at all.
Sutton is a great course - and good value. Bear in mind this is a council course! Saying that is is well maintained and has many varied holes. Plus you can get a craking bacon banjo on the 6th tee!
