As good a golf course as Highland Park is a whisky! Played in Aug 07 and was in much improved condition with very fast wind dried greens. Quite a challenge with wind being the main hazard. New improved 16th hole is spectacular. Some of the finest views from any Scottish golf course - Pentland Firth, Scapa Flow and Hoy hills etc. For the price of a round at certain prestigious courses in say, Fife or Angus you can pay for the Ferry ride (inc car) and a day ticket at Stromness.
