Lovely setting overlooking Plymouth Sound makes for an enjoyable round. Not too difficult, reasonably priced and food at the 19th fine.
The course hasn't the best balance of holes, i.e. 1 par 5, 3 par 3's and plenty of par 4's at circa 350 yards that are a little 'similar'. However still worth a game if you're in the area. The odd hole where a marker post would help the first time visitor, but scored reasonably well despite the odd detour.
Condition of the course was good, greens a little slow but they were were all consistent. Give it a go if have a few hours to kill and the family are busy in Plymouth!
i am a member at staddon heights it is a very relaxing and enjoyable cousre to play on there are some tough par 4 holes and the new holes that have been made are very challenging it is worth a round of golf
This is a great little course set high on the cliffs above Plymouth sound - this course has to have the best views of any course in the land with a huge panoramic view stretching from dartmoor to south cornwall with the whole of Plymouth in the middle.
As for the course goes its a well kept challenging parkland course with plenty of long Par 4's and testing par 3s if you go round in your handicap you're doing well.
Well worth a visit.
