An immature course but the future is bright! Not in the same league yet as it's neighbour Rosslare but a definite 'classy' parkland course in the making with a wonderful atlantic breeze and breath-taking views (definitely a nice place for a beach holiday if the golf is bad). Lot's of thought has gone into some of the holes, the par 3s are great. 17th & 18th are the signature holes with a warm welcome awaiting you in the 19th! ...and a smile if they've seen you play the 18th with a driver!! So a tip: Play a 7 or 6 iron (you're looking for a 160 carry) on the 18th. Aim right of the mound and at the clubhouse. Anything else will be a disaster!!!

Played St Helens Bay as part of the Jameson sponsored event earlier this year. The course can be testing particularly when breezy but overall in excellent condition, you will not forget the final two holes in a hurry !!. As always you are made to feel part of the golf club and the service was exellent as was the Guiness and food. Accomodation is onsite in cottages which are well appointed and very comfortable. The course itself is no more than 5 minutes from the ferry port at Rosslare. Go visit.................
