I must admit that I really enjoyed my visit to this course. Yes the holes are a little bigger than PGA standard and the course is not the most challenging. However, for a beginner in particular (as I was), it is worth a visit as a first introduction to links golf, and to enjoy the fresh air and the views.
I visited about 2 years ago and paid £18 for 18 holes and club hire, which I didn't think was too bad, and best of all I had the entire course to myself, plus the staff were very helpful and friendly. I'm a 20 handicapper now but will visit again if back in the area, if only to see if I can rip up the course and break 80!
