We played here for the first time 09/09/2014 and were a little apprehensive considering the y were in administration earlier this year. We could not have asked for a better welcome from both the lady behind the bar whom we payed our green fees too and the pro. The course was a tight 18 holer which required some thinking around and tricky fast greens. We were fortunate to have a calm day. What we found was a nice touch was the pro spent time before we went out explaining the lay out and generally getting to find out more about us and despite having someone about to have a lesson made time to get out feedback of the course. All in all an enjoyable day and great value. On behalf of our group may we wish Sandilands golf cub all the best for the future.

Played midweek at the beginning of September. This a good links course, which mostly has the traditional out and back layout except for southern end of the course where it widens out. The course plays reasonably easy in good weather but is difficult in the wind, particularly the closing stretch with the long par 3's and par 4's. The course was in very good condition with superb greens - fast and true, many of the greens are upturned so you need to be accurate to get the ball close, low running 'links' shots work well here. Once word of warning for the wayward - because some of the course is on a narrow stretch of coast it helps to be straight, a hook or slice depending on the hole could either end up over the road or on the beach!!! Tee boxes and fairways were also in good condition, bunkers are well positioned but arent too deep. Ive played the course over winter aswell and it plays great, always in good condition and never seems to go on temps. Superb value at only £13 each on the 2-4-1 vouchers but i'd happily pay the full rate of £26 to play here. Practice facilities at the clubhouse end of the course are limited to a putting green and a net for full shots, but if you dont mind driving to the bottom end of the course there is a full length practice ground for full shots The course has a nice cosy clubhouse and the staff and other players / members have always been very friendly.

We recently played here although friends had advised us it was'nt up to much.It became quite obvious to us they probably have never been in this area never mind played here.Nice tight course you have to pick your way round it's no good blasting away with driver here if a bit breezy, the rewards are exellent greens, slick with tricky little breaks at £15 great value very friendly bar staff and on the 2fore1 voucher scheme if you use em!

Excellent value, just £10 after 4.00 pm Mon - Wed. Very good greens, had the course to myself one windy evening. Well worth a visit.

OUR GOLF SOCIETY HAS JUST SPENT A WEEKEND AT THIS COURSE AND HOTEL AND WE THOUGHT IT WAS EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY.ON FIRST IMPRESSIONS IT SEEMED AN EASY COURSE BUT AFTER JUST A FEW HOLES THAT QUICKLY CHANGED.WHILST IT IS NOT A PARTICUALY LONG COURSE THE WIND MORE THAN MAKES UP FOR IT.THE GREENS WERE THE BEST WE HAVE PLAYED ON FOR A LONG TIME.WHERE THE LINKS COURSE ZIG ZAGS ACROSS ITSELF CAN CAUSE A DELAY, BUT AS THE COURSE IS NOT PARTICUALLY CROWDED EVEN AT WEEKENDS,IT IS NOT FOR LONG. IN SHORT,CHALLENGING COURSE,GOOD GREENS,GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.

This is a smashing seaside course, with the £15 green fee extremely good value. The greens were in brilliant condition. Off course the bar is small but homely and the welcome, apart fron one or two members, is very friendly
