Despite a lot of rain over the past few weeks the course was playing well. Greens looked good and played quickly. The course is open and forgiving for new players, no sand traps and just a few water hazards. Well worth a look

I played my first ever game of golf at Redhill yesterday. I would'nt say i was the worst ever but obviously i wasn't that great. It was a good course generally in good condition apart from the green being a bit tatty in places, but nothing bad atall still perfectly fine to play on. Everyone there had a good attitude (including the people in the shop). I would recommend this course to any other beginner as it is challenging enough but at the same time not too difficult to cope with.

TRULY AWFUL! This is little more than a driving range with an afterthought of a course tacked onto the side. There are no bunkers, no trees, no water, no hazards and no fun. In fact its a field with flags. Your hard earned fiver would be wisely spent on the 37 bay driving range... It is after all more challenging.

Overall, this was a very pleasant course to play. Apart from the less than cheery greeting from shop assistants, the atmosphere was one to be proud of. Grounds staff were friendly and cheerful and the fairways and greens reflected their obvious hard work and dedication. As an amateur, (to say the least!) i felt very welcome and was able to play a relaxed, peaceful 9 holes.
