A unique experience. The clubhouse and staff are what you'd expect in the best 5-star hotel and the course is of a standard I've not experienced before in the UK with fast greens and carpet like fairways.
It was better than I expected and my expectations were very high!
This is a private members club in Surrey and only guests of members are invited to play. The whole setting and feel of the club is excellent and one that I wouldn't associate with that I have played in the UK previously. The service, staff and golf on offer at Queenwood is that of a five star resort and was made to feel very welcome during our day there.
Although the course is fairly new in design it has bedded in well within the Surrey heathland it is set. The greens are particuarly excellent with subtle undulations and breaks to work out (with the aid of caddy).
Obviously it is a private members club and they don't accept visitors but if invited for a game do not turn it down!
