Played here on 17 Sept 09. I have to say what a good course this is. A well manicured course with immaculate greens made for a good round, not many dogleg holes but you have to be straight and if you are you could post a good score but veer wide and your in amongst the tall trees that line most fairways. Two testing par 3's mixed with a couple of long par 4's are enough of a challeng but the greens were a joy to play on. A small but well stocked pro shop friendly members and staff and great views from the bar on the first floor in the clubhose overlooking the 18th green and 1st tee. A good day out and a course I would have no hesitation playing again as my fellow 3 players all said too.
I played at this club on Sunday 13/4/08 I did quite enjoy the course however the green fees were £15 (with a member) and around half of the greens (if not more) were poor and I do appreciate that the greens were probably being reseeded for the summer season, but I was given no warning or even reduced price to counteract the poor putting surface. Also I had looked on the clubs website prior to my visit and this needs severely updating, as it states the fees for the 2006 season, and it also states that the golf buggies are half price on a sunday stating they are £6. When I asked the guy in the clubshop how much they were he said "they should be £20 but I'll do one for £15" this is over double what the website states and surely this price is not in line with inflation. Overall I did enjoy my round but would not pay these prices if I was not playing with a member. I have played a lot better courses for that price.
