10 reviews of Pitcheroak Golf Course

A very challenging course, especially for beginners, but the friendly welcome made it so much easier. A lovely relaxed atmosphere and a fantastic club house. An absolute gem! Thanks to Ptcher Oak I am a fanatical golfer and only wish I'd started years ago.

An absolute Gem, this little hidden treasure is a great test of golf! A great time had by all with great shots rewarded and poor ones punished . Great priced little shop and helpful staff made us all very welcome and we will be returning very soon. A must try course for all standards and abilities, golf played in a friendly relaxing environment.

I play this course every week. It is simply a great little course that can be very taxing at times. Somewhat hilly but this adds to the fun. A well established course that used to be 18 holes until a major road was built through it. It is now a very beautiful well laid out 9 hole course with different tee positions for the back 9 holes. Finish in the clubhouse for sandwiches to die for and a swift pint. A great place. And no, I'm not on the payroll !

I am a regular at this golf course and find it very challenging, but it can be easy to play at times when you are playing well. It offers some tricky par 3s and birdiable par 4s but one mistake can lead to a herrific round.

I play this course quite a bit and find it interesting every time i play if you want a convenient 9 holes of golf this is the place some of the holes on the winter course are quite tricky where you can't see the pin and some are fairly hilly but always a joy to play clubhouse is also a friendly place to go will definately play again

Pitcheroak is a beauty of a course. It can be tough going with all the hills, so you have to be an accurate player if you are to succeed on this course. It also has a brilliant clubhouse, that serves a nice bacon sandwich.

I regularly play around pitcheroak. It is a very mature testing course with lots of potential. Each hole having it's own character. This challenging course will cause a few problems if your not on top of your game.

Pitcheroak is a very mature course dating over 100 years old. For a municipal the course is very well maintained with fast greens and with every hole being a challenge. The course is very hilly so you rarely have a flat lie. Your short game needs to be excellent to get a good score. Definately worth playing.

Pitcheroak is quite simply a real little gem. generally on the short side but very testing. Everybody must play this couse at least once. I'll be booking my return, see you there.

Pitcheroak is mature 9 hole/18 tee municapal golf course. Although some holes are quite short all are very tricky and any wayward shots are always punished. The 3rd is a 214 yard par 3 where anything not straight will find a hazard. The last hole is 186 yards down hill when you can hit anything from a 5 iron to a wedge depending on the wind. Friendly staff and generous green fees ensure a great day ouut.
