Just returned from a week at Penrhos, a group of 21 golfers of mixed ability ranging from single figures to 28 handicappers.
The course was in great condition and the weather was very kind to us. The facilities at the hotel are first class, the rooms are excellent and the food was superb.
It is a bit of a climb to start the round but once you get to the 5th tee things level out a little. Notable holes are probably the 9th a short par four with water in front of the green and the 17th a downhill par 3 of 165 yards that is little more than a well struck 8 iron.
All in all an excellent course to play and a really nice hotel to stay at.
