Another good day on Parkhall, really quiet for the time of year, only £6.00 adults & £3.50 children, its playing extremely fast due to the good weather, I suppose like all course's it's desperate for rain. Again I lost count of the balls I lost but that only tells you how tight the course is, it's brilliant for testing out your accuracy I really can't fault it.

My Son & myself played the course again yesterday, it is extremely dry and extremely difficult has anyone who has played it can imagine, the ball runs off every fairway and the the ball rolls back on every putt, you have got to be spot on with every shot, I lost numorous balls and ended up with a gross score of 102 on a par 54 course, it really takes it out of you but I must add that the back 9 was a lot easier that the first 9, the greens weren't in very good condition with cycle tyre tracks and on some of them it looked as though someone had being taking practice shots with the amount of divots taken out but in saying that it is a council run course and not looked after like a private course and for £9.50 for the both of us it is still excellent value for money and the views on a sunny day are brilliant.

I took my 7 year old son to play Parkhall yesterday and was pleasantly surprised, the price is only £2 for juniors and £4 for adults during the Autumn / winter months and although the course is quite wet due to all the rain we have been having it is still very playable and enjoyable, you don't get many bargains like this these days, it cost £2 for a small bucket of balls on the driving range so you can guarantee we will be using Parkhall quite a lot over the next few months.

I played Parkhall yesterday and after nearly 7 years of not playing golf i found it has matured into a very nice course, tight fairways and very scenic, you have to play a straight shot otherwise you can count your ball as lost but I thoroughly enjoyed it, also they have an offer on from Oct 1st 04 - March 31st 05, pay £70 and play as much as you want and if you have a junior golfer as long as they play with you they go free. You won't get better than that.

Parkhall golf course is a very interesting course when you get your first view. When i played the first hole i thought it was okay but the greens were in poor condition. As i went on my first impressions were unchanged. It is alot cheaper than other golf courses but not up to their standards. An ideal course if you are struggling with your irons.

I live near the golf course and play there regularly, and would like to say that it is a brilliant course, challenging holes! just because it is par 3 all round, doesnt mean that it is a walk, CUZ ITS NOT BRO!!! The only negative things that i have to say about this course is that the greens are a bit of a state, but are improving, as i played there 6th april 2003! I woould recommend ths course to golfers of all hanidicaps. If you wish to come here bring plenty of BALLS!!! I can guarentee you that you will lose some. Brilliant scenery, sound as £5 staff there, tony & co. Enjoy. Shaun Walters. Handicap 16.

A great course for the beginner but DO be prepared to loose alot of balls on the course. If your going, have a look for mine (TOP FLITE XL). The rough needs attending to and the greens do aswell. Better groundsmen would help in this sticky predicement. Say hi to tony in the clubhouse too.

It has a beautiful situation but there is an excess of rough on the course. You need to be prepared to loose a few balls if you are new to the game. (Hopefully the rough wil be controlled in the future). It is a very interesting but hard course which can require gentle 5-wood use.

Only use cheap balls as you WILL lose some in the rough. This course isn't kept in the greatest condition. However, it is very inexpensive and gives you much better practice than going down the local driving range.

Before i joined Wolstanton Golf Club this is were i learnt my trade. OK its only a municipal run by Stoke Council but for around £2-£3 a round its good for irons practice. Greens not too good in summer and keep an eye on your clubs
