Not the most enjoyable experience I have ever had. Due it seem to equipment failure, the course was in poor condition, and whilst the narrow fairways had been cut, off the edges was a no go area, and after two holes and one new Pro VI lost just off the fairway, it was down to a 7 iron all the rest of the way. I can understand having temporary problems, but it was the other little things that let the place down, poor signage, waterless ball cleaners, really awfull unkempt bunkers. Some of the holes also left a bit to be desired, the Par 5 5th being terrible - no chance of making the green in two if good enough, it was just 3 x irons and thence chip over pond. Likewise, 6th, dogleg right, wher iron again off tee only way to stay on the dogleg. Shame a bad review as it looks as if it could be a decent little place, but they are not going to returnies if the conditions are as bad as they were today

Oaksey is an enjoyable 9 hole golf course with a friendly club house although a little small. The course is quite open although trees that have been planted over the last few years will make it a lot tighter in years to come. All holes present a challenge although the par 5 fifth is virtually impossible to get on in two as it is surrounded by water and is about 550 yards long. The par 4 sixth is a character dog leg that is hard to reach in two and caution has to be taken with out of bounds all the way down the right hand side. This is certainly a good course if you want a quick 9 holes and is an ideal starter membership club.
