I played the course in August 2009 and it was a pleasure to re-visit. The course is beautiful and a real credit to the greenkeepers. The greens were amazing - the quickest I have played for a long time but they were also very true. The front nine takes the golfer right out into the countryside with birds singing, adjacent fields full of corn, and fantastic scenery. I love it. The back nine seems to traverse the entire Suffolk village. The clubhouse is excellent. Great changing rooms, good bar and superb food. A real gem.

Always enjoy revisiting this club. Greens are in excellent condition and catering was good. It is a course of two halves, the older part is well established with some gorse and shrubbery waiting for badly hit balls. The newer part (10 years old) is more open and longer, but now with tree plantations in play it is more demanding. The grass off the the fairways on all 18 holes is THICK but not long. Well worth a visit.
