Played on Friday 01 May 2015 as part of our week golf trip in Edinburgh Area. A nice little course. A couple of cracking tee shots (2nd and 17th spring to mind) elevated firing down to fairway, a few of the holes midway through seemed to be up one way then down back the other which was a shame but not taking anything away from the course its decent and has a good mix of holes oh and a par 3 236 harder!! The clubhouse looked bleak from the car park but the inside is well decorated and the food was probably the cheapest all week and for what you got a real steal superbly cooked too. Worth a play if in the area. Well stocked and cheap pro shop too.
Played this course April 2004. It flatters to deceive a bit as early holes are nicely tree lined and good to play. However back nine is not that interesting to play, its just a big field. Very narrow fairways, but rough is not tough. There is a 240 yd Par 3 which is slightly uphill! The 17th is a wonderful hole teeing off the edge of a small cliff. The greens are receptive. It is quite easy course, couple of long par 4s require a fairway wood in.
Worth playing if you live in Edinburgh/Dalkeith region, but nothing special!
