We played with a member and because the greens had been cored, we got a half price green fee (£13.50). The course was in good condition (except the greens, which were extrememly slow......probably the slowest I have ever played on). The layout is ok, some interesting holes without being too spectacular. All in all a good round, members on the course were friendly, the course wasn't easy nor particularly difficult. Would play again for £27 but not much more.
Played the Nevill at the end of september and the course generally was in very good condition. The fairways wher immaculate and the the strips were very strong both on teh fairway and in the rough which gives a very striking view on some holes especially the 14th. The back nine is slightly prettier than the front but both have some very good holes. My personal favourites were 12, 14 and 15. The only let down was that the greens were pretty bare and they had been hollow tined. Overall a good round of golf for £30.
