5 reviews of Monte Carlo Golf Club

While this course is well maintained with excellent fairways and greens, the tee boxes were a bit dissapointing considering the conditions of the rest of the course. It is a VERY hilly course, which results in a lot of blind shots, both off the tee and to the greens. (Too many for my liking) It is also a very narrow course, so you had better be hitting the ball straight. Accuracy is much more important than distance on this course! The views were magnificent until the fog rolls in. We had to play the last 5 holes without being able to see as much as 75 yards! Overall a good value for the money!

This is an unusual course with some strange holes but immaculately maintained with superb and challenging greens. Be careful and ensure you play when the clouds don't roll in. I played the 8th hole and I could not see where my ball wnet after 50 metres from the tee box. If you stay at the Hotel De Paris you get very attactive green fees of Euro 45! Tom Soulsby

This is a breathtaking venue, high above Monte Carlo with spectacular views. It is not a a long slog of a course and given the location not particularly expensive and in its way welcomes visitors far better than English equivalents. The European Tour has held many events here and you can see why,the course is immaculate and the greens fast and true.Do not be put off by the name and go,you will love it,golf as it was played and designed 40-50 years ago Paul

If you are lucky enough to be down this way play this place,it is probably the best value in town.Very classy but not pretentious or unwelcoming, neat layout high above Monaco and a little hilly but visually stunning. Greens very very good, take a good short game and take in the the beauty of this place
