1 review of Merchants Of Edinburgh Golf Club

The Merchants of Edinburgh Golf course is a short but interesting course with many challenging holes. The best known hole is the par 3 13th, which is played off a cliff to a small green 150 yards downhill. It is very difficult to judge the line as a strong wind is often blowing. It is none the less a very rewarding hole. My only reservations with the course are the greens they tend to be very soft (So soft you can see your own footprints!) although with the good weather we have had they improved greatly. However as I am not Tiger Woods, I do not mind. Apart from putting the course demands a variety of shots. such as the tee shot on the 9th where you have to hit a long straight drive past the trees to get a direct line into the green.
