This is te best course in the wakefield area.
It has challenges but is fairly forgiving to the expeirienced golfer. The pro is cool and the food is ace.
A brilliant course with excellent greens

*****
Played the course during summer of 2003 and what a pleasant suprise. Had reports from an open day of the course and was not dissapointed. We played on a wednesday about midday. Straight out, like millionaires golf. The fairways we in top condition and some of the holes were very demanding. The greens were the best I played all year. Lightening fast greens but held a pitch in the main. Lovely par3 12th looking over a valley down on to the green about 160/170 yards away. Very tough finish with 16 par 4 SI2 . 17 Par5 and 18th very long uphill par5. Give them a call and arrange a visit. I will be back again this year probably more than once if anything just to sample the fine Tetleys in the clubhouse.
As a complete novice I found this course to be very forgiving, I only lost 2 balls.
Very well kept.
A most enjoyable round in lovely surroundings
Surprisingly good course, well maintained and excellent facillities. We received a warm welcome. Tough holes in abundance, yet possible to set a good score. A decent challenge for all golfers.
Personal Rating 8/10
