Great course for a quick knock about as it only takes an hour or so. Despite being so small, its definitely a challenge for a beginner as the fairways are so narrow at times, accuracy is a real key, most holes average about 100 yards so dont go there expecting a "Proper" round of golf. But good fun all the same. Problems can be on weekends when every family in the area seems to turn up with their kids, expect a slow frustrating round. And the greens can be in very poor condition (particularly the 6th!) But overall a good little course, and the driving range is fantastic. Its the only one I will use, particularly in the evenings as you can actually see your ball flight with the floodlights!

Lavenda Park is a fantastic golf complex, second to none. i discovered it via the internet and since my first visit 3 months ago i have'nt stopped playing there. When playing, i am faced with a good and exciting choice of holes all with different distances, landing in the rough and landing in bunkers close to the green. When i've finished i tend to relax and enjoy a small drink in a recently re-rurbished clubhouse (Summer 2000). Highly recommended to all golf players.

Lavender Park is a nice informal place to take the kids for a fun round. For the most part though I use Lavendar Park as my 'base' for taking lessons and keeping my swing in shape. It has the best driving range of the clubs I go to - the balls are good quality, it operates floodlit until late into the evening and you can clearly see the ball flight and distance made. The pro-shop has helped me out time and time again with equipment repairs, they let me try before I buy and they have pricing which is much more realistic than I typically see in pro shops.

The course is ideal for all abilities of golfer - it is short enough for total beginners, yet tricky enough to provide a challenge for the more acomplished golfer. The practice facilities are second to none that I've seen, with in my opinion the best driving range in the country! Fully carpeted and equipped with new balls and mats which are constantly being updated. It's floodlit and open until 10pm as well. The clubhouse has recently been renovated (Summer 2000) and the shop is now one of the most comprehensively stocked and competitively priced in the area. - Definitely worth a visit

A pleasant little course for that quick nine holes on a saturday morning or late in the afternoon. A short course, so leave your woods at home. The fairways are very narrow in places, especially 3rd and 6th and watch out for the water on the 1st. A good course for beginners and improvers. They have recently updated the club house and shop to a high standard.
