I played on 14th June and was surprised by the quality of the course. The £5 twilight rate (after 5pm) allows you to play as many holes as you wish.
This is a 9 hole course with a difference. It has 10 greens and 6th & 16th are par 4's and 7th and 15th par 3's. This means there are 12 genuinely different holes.
The course is quite open but most greens have big slopes (9th/18th is a 2 level green amd 3rd/12th 3 levels)so scoring isn't easy. The course measures 6005 yds from the whites.
The greens are in need of TLC/money but the course is well worth a visit for the golf as well as some splendid views across the Dee.
The course is in good condition with some interesting greens to deal with and above all it still seems to be good value for money.
