Just played this course today, did not realise it existed and only 5 miles from my home, front 9 are fairly featureless, back 9 more interesting. Was not cheap even with a county card, facilities very good including the food which was excellent.

The course looks impressive but beware that the course is quite tough esp. when the rough grows. The greens were in poor condition when we visited at the end of April. Also beware that the back 9 is much longer than the front 9 (by 600 yards)with a very strange combination of three par 5s in a row. Good luck.

Terrific golf for all levels.Looks easier than it plays with a testing back 9. Should be on every golfers list " to visit " Management and staff very approachable and helpful.Great pro shop with own computer aided training studio.Improvements apparent evry time I visit

We arranged a Society Golf Outing to this course and had an extreamly enjoyable days golf. The weather was had not been kind all through the week but we were lucky enough to had a sunny but very windy day to play in. Despite the weeks rain the course held up very well, the greens being very receptive if a little inconsistant. An enjoyable course to play with the wind bringing many of the water hazards into play. The service we recieved was excellent with the food to match. A great society day out.

We played Wedmore on Oct 26th - the day after heavy rain. The course was immaculate and the greens were very good. We all agreed that the course was challenging and we were treated like royalty. The food was excellent and we will definately have an annual outing to Wedmore.

A thoroughly average course. Avoid. If you want the views over Cheddar Gorge there are plenty of parking areas to look from. This round was uninspiring and unchallenging. Six mediocre par threes didn't help matters and we left vowing never to return.
