Played the course 16/11/2013 for the first, it's a little gem. Some holes are still developing as the course is still fairly new. Others are a real challenge, the 12th is probably the signature hole. For the time of the year and amount of rain over the last few weeks the greens and fairways were in excellent condition. The club house is new and the facilities very good the staff and members are friendly. I was so impressed that I have joined for a 4 month trial.

As one of the other reviewers mentioned this course really is a hidden gem. I played here last week with some friends and the course played beautifully in beautiful surroundings (Georgian Parkland) with plenty of water hazards to keep things interesting. The new clubhouse (built in 2009 I think)is probably the best in the area with some fantastic facilities. The club as a whole had a very friendly welcoming atmosphere about it due to the staff being very helpful and friendly. The members too all seemed like a friendly bunch. I will definitely be returning hopefully with a large group of us and can highly recommend.

I played Henlle Park in May 2011. A very enjoyable course set within beautiful, landscaped Georgian Parkland with ground undulation, water hazards and plenty of mature trees. As other reviews have written, this course is about thining, strategic golf due to the natural hazards. Their new clubhouse complete with terrace over looking the 1st tee and 18th green was the perfect place to enjoy our post round beer. We were made to feel very welcome by both the staff and the club's regular members. One of the best clubs in the area.

Played Henlle Park on Monday 27th April 2009, with a society from Penn Golf Club. Given that it is a relatively new course I did not know what to expect, and feared the worse when standing on the first tee. Was this going to be another 'farmer's field' course? Far from it! Not only is the course very well thought out, but it is very well maintained and presented, with fairways in excellent condition. The back nine is the better nine with some super holes that will challenge players of all standards. The USGA standard greens are true if a little slower than we are used to at Penn, but overall this is a superb course. Difficult to believe that it is only five years old. We were made very welcome in their wonderful new clubhouse, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Henlle Park for a thourghly enjoyable day's golf.

Played the course twice last year with the new clubhouse being under construction. Had to return to savour the finished article. With the new 19th complete and the course already in my eyes superb had a greay day. Plenty of variation on the course and lots of "favourite" holes this is a must for a society day or casual visit. good value and excellent food and friendly staff rounded off a super day.

As working abroad, Had not even played this course, but on recommendation joined as full member!.An inspired choice, the course is a great fair test of golf with precision over power the key.The greens are superb and and have been informed by other members very rarely on winter greens as course drains very well.Clubhouse has great atmosphere and once new club house built i can see this course having a long waiting list.so glad i listened for once!!

I had the pleasure of playing there on 21 Sep 05. Considering the place has only been open a couple of years its one of the best courses I have played around shropshire and even further afield.. Course management is the key No need for big booming drives. A lovely course set in a beautiful parkland setting with natural hazards including plenty of water, there is no need for bunkering except around the greens. A thoroughly enjoyable day, excellent greens and once the new club house is built it will be a superb facility. Friendly staff greet you. I may even apply for membership.
