Travelling to Cornwall, I stopped off late on a Sunday and March for a "quick nine". Pleasant pro shop and bar area, and a large driving range. Course starts off with a short downhill par 4 which is most likely drivable in summer, but care should be taken with trouble either side. This is followed by a brutal 200+ yard par 3 which is to a raised green and where a 4 is a realistic target. A dogleg right par 4 leads to a narrow uphill but shortish par 4 to a green with a tree and pond on the right which gathers balls like the proverbial magnet. The 6th is the only par 5 on the course and is a respectable length where trees in the fairway have to be flown after the drive. A par three over the proverbial water leads to the 8th, a downhill par 4 where care is needed on the tee as the fairway is very blind. This will leave a downhill approach to an attractive green which is quite narrow. The final hole is back up the slope where the drive needs to be right of the large bunker in view.
All in all, I would think this is quite a busy little course, and would I suspect be very wet underfoot after rain, however, it is very playable and well worthy of a quick visit
Summer Special
Taking on board Ian's comments, players booking after 6pm and paying for 9 holes can play as many holes as they like. Come along and enjoy

Shortish, well kept, hilly 9 hole course with 3 par 3's, 5 par 4's and a solitary par 5 that is fairly straightforward. Greens are considerably better in the spring than in the autumn and it does not take much rain for a trolley ban to be implemented. The course does offer several challenges - the toughest hole is the deceptively long second, a 185 yd par 3 to a raised green guarded by rough and bunkers. The path to the third tee wends its way up a steep hill; worth the trip to get the chance to belt a drive (or not as the case may be!!) over a valley to set up a 2nd shot that will skirt the lake adjacent to the green. Weekend tee times fill up all year round, the beer garden and bar are very pleasant. Best aspects are the helpful pro and teaching staff. Worst is lack of any twilight rate at any time of year - particularly tough in winter.
excellent course, very friendly people, and well run club
