Shame about some member’s attitude to visitors.

Course very good, greens also.

Played in a 4 ball and took 3hrs 45mins despite not knowing the course. No balls lost or indeed had to be looked for. Yet we were accosted by 4, shall we say ‘older’ members, who apparently play every day, telling us in a very aggressive manner to quicken our play or let them through. They hadn't even reached the previous green to us when this happened and we had all driven off straight up the fairway. We had let a 2 ball through only 3 holes earlier, so understand golf etiquette and were not playing slow.

We had genuinely gone to the course with a view to consider joining - as we live locally – after this experience NO CHANCE!

Cannot comment on the Clubhouse as we all left without trying it.

we played here in may and one of the tees was on mats ,and not even on level ground at that, also the greens were being dressed , so the putts were inconsistent to say the least, but the club pro did not inform us of any of this and still charged the full £35 for the round when it is in what was comparatively winter condition, £35 is a hell of a lot of money for a somewhat average course, my opinion save £5 and go across sheffield to wortley, now that is truly money well spent on the best course in south yorkshire

One of the best lay outs in the area, easily the best course on south side of Sheffield. Some testing holes and tricky, snaking finishing green. Greens are normally good, but "twitch" grass is spreading. Usually kept neat and tidy, although suspect to the odd animal scrape, there's a rogue Meer Kat on the course. Friendly staff including the 1 and only Potter "Evening Gents". If you've got time check out the wobbly headed Wedge in the bar. KOI!!!!

This is one of the best courses in the area, key holes are the first 5 if you can get through these to par then you have a good chance of a great score. This course is very KOI.Some short par 4's but accurate tee shots are key, to leave you on the best sides for the pins.

Played it last year in a society outing
(scored my only hole-in-one on the 14th!!). Can't agree with the previous comments, nice course but nothing special. Worth a look for the splendid clubhouse and interesting finising holes. Good greens.

Minter of a course, good standard greens and manicuored fairways. Provides a good test of golf to all golfers. Key holes-5th(strong par4),8th(picturesque par3), and 11th (demanding par3).
