Played the South course in August with a hotel resident so started from the 11th tee (along the beach).
I had previously played here a number of years ago and was looking forward to returning.
Overall I found it quite a disappointment, the fairways and greens were often waterlogged and the lack of interest or knowledge of the lady in the small pro shop at the hotel didn't get us off to a good start.
With hindsight should have booked and started from the first for a far more pleasurable experience.
Would have been very upset if we had had to pay the full green fee, we only paid the hotel resident fee of 50€ instead of the normal 120€

Played the North course and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not long in distance but various tight holes mean that playing 2 or 3 irons from the tee is common. Greens were very soft and reasonable to putt on. Very little undulation so not particularly challenging. Would recommend this course for all handicaps and is a very pleasant course, spoiled perhaps by the proximity to traffic.

I have only played the North course so far, in March this year. It is a pleasant course without being spectacular but has its fair share of troublesome holes with some tight drives and a river which winds its way through and comes into play on 8,12,13,16 and 17 in particular, and to a lesser extent on 14 and 18. Suitable for all handicaps, it is a pleasant place to spend a day the only (slightly) negative aspect being that four of the holes are on the other side of the main Malaga to Estepona highway. Although there is an underpass for the golfers it can be a little noisy just at that point where the par 3 11th runs along the road. Worthy of inclusion in a golfing holiday itinerary, it is easily found and close to several popular hotels/apartment blocks in the San Pedro area.
