Played here late July when the temperature was in the 90's. (phew!) A stunningly picturesque course. The opening hole (long Par4)has about 13 bunkers on it! Some very good elevation changes on it as well with a good mixture of short and long Par 4's. Like all Good courses it gives you a mix of holes to start 3's 4's and 5's before it shows its teeth with some very testing holes. Esp. the drop hole Par5 9th and the intimidating Tee shot of the Par3 eleventh hole. The 17th and 18th are a perfect way to end a competitive round as you can either get Par or run up a 8 very easily. If you are wondering why i haven't marked it higher, i did play well that day and most of the courses we had played on our holiday were high in the Alps. And after all our hiking around those courses to massively elevated greens & tees Grenoble seemed like a day off to me & the guys. But ignore this course at your peril. It is a must play if you are are in the area believe me with water, sand and fast even greens. Lovely!
