I don't recognise the course that Andy describes in his review. We played both courses last week and Golf de Cice Blossac is infinitely the better. Good layout, nice condition and excellent greens. For a bit of holiday golf it was excellent. The only gripe is the hire clubs both courses provided. Ancient equipment and only half a set. Clearly the hire club initiative has not reached this part of France yet.

Whilst the course layout is good the condition is poor. Fairways on the front resembled light rough and the greens were poorly maintained and inconsistent. On one green the sand had burst through the centre and looked like a bunker in the middle of the green. Much better courses in the area, such Rennes St Jacques, Freshlonaire and slightly further afield Des Ormes and Le Tronchet.
