Very nice tree-lined, mature course. I didn't start off very well here but once I started finding the fairways with my driver the course became much more manageable.
For me the course saves its best until last with 16 / 17 and 18 all providing great challenges for the end of the round. The 16th is a narrow par-3 with a large green meaning hitting the perfect shot is key to having an easy put. While 17 is a short par-4 the tee shot and approach are tricky, anyone playing left of the putting surface will find themselves well off the green and miss any chance of making a par. 18 is a great dog-leg par-4 with accuracy off the tee required and confidence in your ball striking as you fire a long approach to a small green with a stream providing protection at the front.
5 out of 5 stars.
This is one of the best golf courses in Bucks and should be played by anyone who is in the area looking for a game. It's not the longest golf course around but the layout is outstanding and if you happen to go at the right time of the year the greens are excellent.
Staff are friendly and so are the vast majority of the members.

Couldn't agree more with previous reviews. Fantastic course. Really good looking holes that provide an excellent test of your game. Amazing 5-star greens when I played in April.
What a finish as well! The closing three holes are as an enjoyable end to a round as I have had anywhere.
All very friedly in the pro-shop. Sadly didn't get a chance to sample any food or drink in the clubhouse.
Best course in Bucks...seriously with a bit more investment this would knock the stuffing out of The Buckinghamshire and Stoke Park. Even as it is the layout is just fantastic. So many different holes and a couple of real gems. The 16th reminded me of Augusta, which in my mind is the ultimate compliment. The 18th is probably the best finishing hole I have ever played as well. The clubhouse was very quiet but everyone was extremely friendly and happy to help. As two guests my playing partner and I met a couple of members who invited us to join them. We had a better ball match over the last six holes and really enjoyed their company. They were serious players and won every hole we played though which was frustrating...they were 4 under gross though so no shame there! You would have thought they would have let us at least half one hole!
All in all an amazing days golf and I wish I lived close enough to make membership worth while! Absolute gem!
I played here on 25th November and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Some fairly straightforward opening holes lead to the first par 3 at the 5th which goes up steeply to a green at the top of the hill. I took two more clubs than the distance suggested and still came up short! The remaining par 3's are challenging and interesting as well. The course is generally undulating, tree lined and well laid out with generous fairways and well designed holes. It is well cared for with a nice clubhouse.
Can be strongly recommended.
Had a 36 hole society day here, good food / club house. The greens were good / receptive considering the long dry spell.
You have to plot your way round, sloping fairways lots of jungle to gobble up your ball in places. Some good holes and perhaps only one or two weak ones.
The 18th is a tough hole I did not score a point on both rounds. lay up and go for the five.
Well worth a visit
This is a fantastic course, each hole is different and playable, the greens are superb and there are plenty of practise facilities,I also found the pro shop very friendly and helpfull. The finishing stretch is memorable.
The bar was quiet but the staff were accomodating and friendly,a welcome change and a hidden gem not too far from London,a must play
I played this course for the first time on 3rd April and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although the bunkers where being sanded and repaired the rest of the course was in good condition. A few blind shots, interesting layout, great finishing hole and good pace on the greens makes this course well worth a visit.
