Play here for first time today with uncle and a friend both members. This is a championship course as a beginner I loved everything about it, very challenging in rain and wind. Course is a stand out is very well looked after too.

I hadn't played this course since 2006 and wasn't really looking forward to a return. What a SURPRISE ... The improvements have been dramatic and the greens are pretty special. I was told the course is played on normal tees and greens throughout the winter ..... lucky members! Only slight gripe would be the bunker sand, very compact. Will be back.

I played this course in September 08 as part of the First in Fife golf scheme. As we had to pay a £10 supplement per person I was expecting something quite spectacular. However, this was the least favourite course i have ever played on. Extremely long and hilly and I believe golfers who were not fully fit would struggle with the length and would certainly need a buggie. As a relatively new course I felt it was featureless - despite the name there are very few trees and I found it extremely bleak. Would not play there again. Carron Wilson

I played this with a member on 28th August. Its a fantastic challenge for any golfer though the high handicapper would struggle. Its built on a hillside so there are few holes which are flat. Often there are huge mounds to negotiate. Its not for the faint-hearted. The course is in great condition, and the greens spot-on. All-in-all its one of the best I've ever played, a hidden gem.
