you can buy a golf pass for playing three courses locally. this was the first course we played. we started just after it stopped raining in the afternoon. we rented a buggy and were told that we will be surprised how nicely the course drains. back home after such a deluge we will be lucky to be allowed electric trolleys. and the course was dry as said, marvellous. course was in very good nick. you could hardly a bare patch. it was beautifully maintained course. the bak nine is bit tricky and tough and otherwise it is good and fair test of golf. very impressive introduction to irish golf. go and enjoy it.

Played it as part of a 3 course pass you can get in this area of Ireland. Its a nice course but the weakest link of the 3 you play. I drove the 1st green (295 yards) much to the annoyance of my fellow 4 ball infront who were still putting. The greens were in good nick but some of the harder stroke index holes were far too accessable after a long drive. The closing stretch 12 - 18 is where the challenge lies with some great holes so score early. Lovely views of the river over wich you can see the fairways of Waterford castle (which you also play as part of the 3 course pass) which is a far tougher test.

Had a very nice time. Does not play as difficult as some, but still a challenge. Staff was great and the bartender made the round complete. This is a resort golf course and you have to repair more than just your ball marks on the greens. They were doing some work around the course when we played. Not to die for course, but when in Waterford, this is an ourtstanding get-away and relax course. If the wind would have been blowing it could have been an even more difficult course. Keep it in the fairway. Bartender builds an outstanding Guinness.

What a wonderful golf course, I played 4 courses last week in Waterford and this was the best i came across. A real test of golf, tight driving lines, greens that needed to be judged perfectly to stay on them and when you done that, all greens had to be read carefully. I have never concentrated so hard in my life.

Excellent course with fine views and superb greens.Had no trouble paying a green fee and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Quite a few houses being built round the course at the moment but feel sure this will only add to the panorama when finished. Excellent clubhouse.

An excellent golf course. Friendly staff, fine views over the river. Holes were interesting and varied with water a prominent feature on many. Course was in excellent condition(1996). Superb clubhouse.
