Have started playing this course reguarly. It is an absolute delight and has a couple of holes that would grace almost any course. Generally in very good condition and at a very keen price, the membership and staff are most welcoming. A very pleasant place to play golf.
A brilliant day was had by all on the Bamford Open July 2008, the course was in A1 condition. Our society of 33 ranged in handicap from 7-26 with a winning score of 37 points showing what a true test of golf this is.
The course is a good mix of long and short from the opening par 3 watched by the gallery, the well thought out 9th and a par 3 over a slight revine to finish.
The welcome was very good friendly members excellent food and to top it off one of the members had his head/beard shaved for charity.

Fantastic par 3 nineth hole, must be one of the best in England. Worth playing just for this hole.
