Since the affiliation with Sandwell the course has gone up a few notches in condition, bunkers were plush with sand and well raked, greens were superb, it also seems that they have pushed the rough back in places to make it less penal in summer months, that said with the usual south/south west wind the 3rd and 16th should really be par 5's- why not put a feature pond in front of the greens on each and make them risk reward shots instead on long slogs into wind, which being exposed on top of a hill the wind seems strong even when its calm at ground level. The biggest concern is that we teed off on a friday at 10am and never saw a sole till 16th and that was someone with a pencil bag playing random holes. currently the club has adopted a loyalty card, play 5 times get one free
visited the coarse today feb 2008. It is a very hilly coarse so be warned. I paid £15.00 18 holes thats if you can figure out which way to go a little sinage would not go a miss here. The greens were playable at best no sand in bunkers but the ground staff were busy/friendly and you have to consider the weather we have had. I think this is a good coarse because of its challanging and unusual layout somthing different.
Well maintained course. Friendly & helpful staff and excellent value - £10 per round! A real test for golfers with low handicap.

Since early in the season when the club had trouble with diseased greens they have really turned it around, and the club, greens, fairways are back to their best, and the course is looking really tidy. The staff are very friendly, and the food is first class.
The course is well laid out and with the wind it adds to it's character. The main problem I found was the condition of both fairways and greens. Only two or three of the greens were in good condition and the fairways were very uneven and not well kept. Even so, a friendly atmosphere and on a 2-fore-1 deal represented good value for money.
A very challenging hilly course where the wind plays a big factor in club selection.Good off course facilities locker room and showers. Exelent food menu and friendly members, well worth a visit.
