Excellent course, every hole is different and the condition of the course is very good. Clever bunkering on many holes. The par 3s in particular were very enjoyable, all challenging and easy on the eye. Well worth a visit.

Excellent course kept in excellent condition; fairways and greens in great condition especially after very heavy rainfall the day before we played. A few gentle hills, nothing too exhausting, some nice par 3's.
Tree-lined but generous fairways, rough not too punishing
Pro-shop and clubhouse staff friendly and wellcoming. Food good, beer good but beer maybe a bit pricey.
Well worth £17.50 for a weekday round (in September).
I look forward to returning in future.

I would rate Drumpellier as the best course between the Glasgow region and Edinburgh's. It's an inland course, but has a bit of a linksy feel -- in the way the fairways run and the greens open to shots. Inasmuch as I've got "links-on-the-brain," Drumpellier appeals to me. It's a bit more costly (35 GBP weekdays in 2008), but certainly fair in comparison to nearby Glasgow. Layout and greens are very good. It's very pretty. I just wish I had more money, to play more often :) So far, I've liked it better than anything I've seen in Glasgow, though I haven't played them all. By comparison, it's a good way to spend a round.

Truely a hidden gem, a wonderful parkland course very reasonalble priced. We played this course directly after coming off our transatlantic flight. Unfortunately our bags did'nt make the London connection. The staff were extremely helpful in arranging rentals including shoes, so much so we gave it another go after our trip so that we could play with our own gear. I would highly recommend.

Drumpellier is a beautiful golf course with a range of facilities such as a refurbished bar and four practice facilities. The clubhouse has just finnished a major extension and refurbishment. The course is in wonderful condition thanks to the large greenkeeping force which work day and night to keep the course in good condition. I think that everyone should visit Drumpellier Golf Club as it is a marvelous course.
