stunning course set in a stunning location.the greens are impeccable.course is well laid out and in great order.2nd,5th ,8th ,16th holes would be signature holes.rough is quite punitive in places.played with 3 members martin, liam and sean.great guides and a good advert for the club with some interesting anecdotes about certain pros experiences around the course and the courses history.
This course is in a stunning setting. Played it on a dead calm day in August but the rough was still punishing if you strayed too far off line. Well worth a visit if you are in the North of ireland and deservedly in top 100 courses.
Known by the locals as "Murvagh" - this is beauty and brilliance combined. I'd say more parkland by the sea thank classic links. That said, it' got all the breath-taking quality of links style golf. Surrounded by the Atlantic the course twists and turns through dunes and down the Atlantic estuary of Donegal bay.
Oustanding facilities with a friendly atmosphere - make this very memorable with the 18th epitomising the course! Great!
