I have recently joined Hearsall and although it is a very testing and demanding course with the narrow undulating fairways lined with mature tree's, I have never known such a friendly and accommodating club. From the general members of all ages through to the bar staff and all the management it is a club that welcomes and serves visitors and members alike of all experience with a hospitality that any club would be happy and proud to replicate. The course is very well kept and the greens are amazing even in these very testing weather conditions. The fairways are very good although due to severe dry spells are in desperate need of some water. If I had a minor criticism it would be as a high handicapper (24) I would like some more sand in the bunkers and less stones as the game is hard enough without being able to play a correct (as taught) sand shot. I know I shouldn't be in there anyway, but hey! Excellent food in the bar and the restaurant. The service is better than many well known restaurants in the area. Locker room is superb, can I have one now please :) All-in-all an excellent club and venue and I look forward to many years of being a playing and social (hic) member. A nice parkland course on the outskirts of Coventry. Hearsall is quite testing, especially with less run on the ball this summer. The facilities have also been upgraded in recent years and the locker rooms are excellent, as is the clubhouse facility as a whole.

Played today as a guest of a member. Very impressed with the course overall. Although not being a long course, Coventry Hearsall is as challanging as most. Most holes demand an accurate tee shot and can be rewarded with a birdie. Go off line and there is little or no chance of you hitting the green in regulation. Decent clubhouse and facilities.

Played there recently on a charity golf day. One of the most challenging courses I've played in a while. Favours big hitters, so long as you're very accurate!! Some narrow fairways to catch you out if you're off line! All in all an enjoyable course to play, well kept and always interesting.
