Played here April ,10 . Lovely course & club in a nice area. Very easy walking ,this was very pleasant to play .Lots of different trees & overall ,it just has a really nice feel to it. Loads of Harry Colt bunkers.Front 9 is quite tight & the back 9 you can get the driver out.The last 3 holes feel slightly out of character, almost as if they weren't the originals & /or it's been re routed. Really liked hole section 7 - 15 . It's quite near the motorway but the hum didn't bother me & i could only hear it if i deliberatly listened. Friendly members & a nice ,relaxed clubhouse with a 1st floor terrace .Would be a good society venue. If i lived in the area this is the sort of club that i'd want to join. Kevin B.

Played here April , 2010. Lovely course & club in a nice area. Very easy walking & treelined .It has loads of well placed & visually attractive Colt bunkers. Nice variety of holes & trees .The front 9 is tighter & more strategic & the back 9 more driver friendly. I particularly liked holes 7 - 15.The last 3 holes seemed ever so slightly out of character ,almost as if they've been changed/re routed in the past. It's not that far from the motorway ,but i only found i could here a drone if i actually intentionally listened out for it & for the most part didn't notice it. Very friendly & welcoming club with a nice atmosphere & clubhouse. This is the type of club that ,if i lived in the area , i'd want to join . It would be a good society venue. All in all, a really pleasant round. Kevin B.

Nice course, though if a low handicapper worth playing off the whites for that additional challenge. Greens in very nice condition and running smoothly. One of those courses where the tee shots are key, hit a good drive and you should hit the green in regulation. The bunkers are startegically placed, especially for my 4 wood distance - around 230 yards! In hindsight, would take out the driver and take these bunkers out of play! But then there is the risk and reward, the further you try to hit it, the narrower the fairway seems to become. Nice course. Very nice modern clubhouse.

Played in harold whittle bowl on 19 August. I found the greens and tee's in great condition, but despite being challengeing and undulated the fairways were not in the best condition.I found if you let off a good tee shot you would hit the green in regulation and 2 putt and make a par.101 bunkers have been cleverly placed around the course, hit it straight and you wil not have a problem.
