Course was in stunning condition when played on a hot summers evening, greens were slick and very true, the perfect combination. There are some risk and reward holes that make the course 'dazzle', especially the 14th, a long par 5 where you can either drive over the water and have an iron in or play the safe way around the edge. Course management is needed round this course, but i would personally say that this is the key factor to making a golf course fun and interesting.
Played here a few times this year and have been impressed with the condition of the course and the challenge offered. Not the longest course in the area but this is made up for by the course layout - thought is required rather than hit and hope with the 460cc driver! Especially like the 1st (par 4 up hill), 7th (blind drive, long 2nd down hill), 11th (short par 4, but dogleg round trees) and 14th (excellent par 3). Clubhouse and proshop friendly and helpful.
