what a unusual tricky beautiful golf course,when i saw there were no bunkers i thought great! but they have walls bracken & heather, although its only 9 holes don't underestimate it, with two sets of tees it ensures 18 holes of challenging golf.the clubhouse is welcoming and comfortable with friendly staff & members, will definitely return
What a unique gem of a course in the heart of Leicestershires national forest. Great condition and a real challenge because of the amazing terrain, prehistoric rocks, heathland and trees. The small homely clubhouse is wlecoming and the members very friendly. Definitely would recommend any golfer to pay a visit.
Having played the course last friday I have to say what fantastic condition it was in considering it is only early March. Each hole is different and offers challenges from blind second shots into the green to sloping lies on almost every hole. The lack of bunkers is compensated for by stray shots being punished by the heather and bracken lining the fairways. Although a little short, and the greens weren't the biggest we were offered a warm welcome and would definately recommend a visit.
