Played Burghley on a Friday afternoon in September. The setting is excellent with only a little road noise on one of the tees. All the fairways and most of the greens were in very good condition.
The course is a flat, park land layout and seemed a little dull and lacked any real character, in my opinion. At £30 for a visitors ticket it can't be described as particularly good value for money.
