Played here 11 May 2016 - course in superb condition - all nine golfers from around the UK who played agreed that it was a tough but fair test - greens were consistent and challenging - some bunkers still suffering from winter rains - and overall a great day's golf. Both Pro Shop and bar staff were very friendly and helpful . Will return later this year !

I played this golf course in the summer for the first time. I am new to golf and found this to be a real tough challenge. Some really great holes out there. Only problem was the pro, he was very unhelpful and rude. We had booked well in advance and he told us he had no record of our booking but then luckily I had a print out. We then asked about buggies and he said he doesn't have any and got funny with us. None of us will be returning purely because of the pro and I would not recommend this club to anyone for the same reason. He ruined the day with his attitude!!

Played here in the summer and couldn't find a fault, After playing in the winter not fully up to its summer standard but still in superb condition, a great club with a tremendous atmosphere and staff are really friendly, and pro-shop is well stocked. The greens were a tad slower but still a good speed and a real good challenge that was not too difficult, the bunkers were a little hard but no surprise for winter, very enjoyable!

Course is getting back to its best after a couple of indifferent years. Greens are superb. Congratulations to greens staff.

Three captains playing on a sunny autumn day. The previous evening it belted down, but we found the course in excellent condition. Really enjoyable course with no two holes the same, and excellent use of natural contours. A narrow valley across several holes makes you think, and the 9th hole is fascinating - stepping stone golf, over the pond, then over the hedges and valley to find a tight green. 170 yd, par 3 that you look at and think 'how do I get the ball to stay straight and stop on green?' (as anything else is in a mess!) Variety, beautiful setting, greens and fairways in excellent order - this makes for a good course. Clubhouse was friendly and relaxed for a pint afterwards. All in all - well worth a visit.

this is a fantastic course and possibly the best greens i have played on this year. some really pretty holes and some good water features. the course isnt particulary challenging as is very open and can pretty much hit the ball anywhere off the tee and still have a shot at the green apart from the 9th 11th and 15th. worth playing just in the hope the greens are as good as for me yesterday, but maybe not for someone looking for a challenge. when some of the trees grow this could truely become a brilliant course. clubhouse is great.

This is a superb golf course in excellent condition - a credit to all concerned. The 9th (par 4), 10th (3) and 11th (5) are a real test with accurate tee shots essential. The staff are very friendly and the food is good. I recommend this course without hesitation - Oh to be a member!!
